I painted this in 1996. Oil on masonite board it is 11.5 x 16 inches. Taken from a close up of some huge boulders and moss behind my grandfather's barn it has 2, well, 3 subjects, one not so easily found.

It's a beautiful piece. I think I've found a locket there :) The colours are gorgeous, really harmonious. And I adore that little fairy peeking out :D

At first I didn't notice the fairy, nor the necklace. I had to zoom the whole picture to see them. You've hidden them well! :D

:DWell, I was going to say 2 subjects......the faerie and the necklace, but the mossy rock is so strong and so detailed it's like a 3rd entity in the painting.
